>> Sùzdal

Suzdal is a town in the Vladimir region in Russia, located on the banks of the river Kamenka. The city was declared as a part of a World Heritage site "White Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal" by UNESCO in 1992. Today the city is a center with many examples of Old Russian architecture. When you walk through the streets most churches and monasteries give the impression that one of every three buildings is a church. The Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady with its five blue domes and the Monastery of San Eutimio Redeemer has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
